Description

Aralia Golden Ball is an exotic plant suitable for offices and homes. It belongs to the plant family of Araliaceae and is native to Asia and America. The Aralia is also known as spikenard and has a variety of 68 plant species in total. The Aralia Golden Ball requires low maintenance and is easy to grow. It thrives best in bright to moderate indirect sunlight. Nevertheless, it can grow in low light or artificially lit areas as well.

This plant prefers a light and well-draining soil to grow efficiently. Watering it adequately is necessary, however, overwatering is the major cause of the loss of this plant. Water it only when the top layer of the soil feels dry to touch. A pot with drainage holes is an appropriate option to let the excess water drain out in order to avoid overwatering. Use a liquid houseplant fertilizer to feed the plant twice a month during the summer and spring seasons. Using an insecticidal soap is highly beneficial to wash the plant in case of any insects or bugs before they cause irreversible damage to the plant. Pruning the plant will help in gaining the desired shape and will promote a thick growth.
